Suits Style
In the past, fashion and style are commonly associated with women but at the present time, men have become more interested and concerned with fashion and style as well especially in his choice of men’s clothing such as suits. Fundamentally, men suits are meant for formal events, whether for business functions, dinner parties, weddings and other social gatherings. It may need additional effort to look great and have the style of suit that any man wants it but it can probably be done with ease. Men suits style just require the right attitude and taste to search for matching clothing and accessories to project the image and style a man wants to achieve.
As with styles, there different styles of suits to choose from, which the English or British style, Italian or Continental style and American style are included as the major styles.
The men’s British or English style of suit is described by its high waist, hourglass body form along with unpadded shoulders. Consists in this style are side vents and single or double breasted suits with either two or three buttons. Men’s single breasted suits usa is the usual style used. It refers to a suit with a jacket consisting of three to four front buttons in single row. Men’s double breasted suit however, has two sets of buttons positioned in parallel rows so as to secure the jacket more onto the sides of the waist. It is commonly worn for a more formal and classy appearance. and last of all, vested suits typically comes in three pieces. Men’s three piece vested suit consists of an outer coat, vest and underneath suit jacket along with adjusters to go well with the features and size of the wearer.
The Italian or Continental style of suit has qualities similar to that of the English suit style but it truly has a unique style of its own. It comes with two or three buttons but is usually single breasted. Pants used are bigger and shorter than the regular length. Shirts used are in general in white or blue are paired with dark ties for the classic and simple look. Italian style commonly comes in linen and fine wool suits with close-fitting and high shoulders.
American style is popularly known as the “sack suit” where in American suit style is more casual and informal. It has small shoulder paddings and tapered sides with extra vents and three front buttons. Lately on the other hand, there are mens American style as well with central or dual vents and no shoulder pads either.
